A fantastic quote from Bastien Schweinsteiger in the press over the weekend as the speculation about his future at Bayern Munich intensifies.
I posted on here the other day and also back in the summer of the "reported" interest in him from Chelsea but said that I wouldn't expect any deal to be agreed as early as January as I would be surprised if Bayern would let him go that early. Schweinsteiger has spoken out about his future and see's his future in England and has spoken music to the ears of all Chelsea followers when he said:
"I love the kind of speed of the English game but I don't know what will happen with me, I have a contract until 2012 and we'll see. What I love is the atmosphere in English stadiums. When we played last year in Manchester it was fantastic. I watch the English games on TV and I like the Chelsea style at the moment. They're very strong. For me, in England the fans are better, When the team give their best, they are not booing. It's more like they are fans more with the heart."I am sure if the player becomes available that Chelsea won't be the only ones looking at trying to bring him to the Premier League and Bayern will do all the can to keep him there, but it is very encouraging to hear him speak of us. That can only be a good sign for Chelsea.

ReplyDeletelon kira chelsea pantas untuk mendapatkan sebastian schwenstiger, menanpun sebalikjih.
ReplyDeleteWould be a good signing but where would he fit in the 25? I'd hate to see McEachran dropped after making it to the first team.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see Bastian at Chelsea and i promise to spell his surname correctly if he comes to the Bridge! But as Jason said, i would hate to see McEachran getting the adverse effect!
