Give us £80m and you can have Eden Hazard - Chelsea put winger up for sale!

According to a report in The Sun, two top agents who work closely with Chelsea have told Europe's elite clubs that Eden Hazard is up for sale this summer!

It hasn't taken long at all has it. Conte is appointed as manager from next season, he reportedly met up with some of the players for a chat to ascertain where the see their futures beyond this season and just two days later a decision is made and our best player is up for sale!

It's an amazing turnaround if you think about it, especially looking back to twelve months ago. Back then, Eden Hazard was head and shoulders above anyone in the Premier League and Chelsea for that matter as he played a huge part in Chelsea winning the Premier League for the first time in five seasons and the League Cup in addition.

Coupled with the instrumental role he played in helping the team, Hazard picked up numerous individual awards including being voted Player of the Year by his fellow Pro's in the game. He was talked about in the same breath as the likes of Messi and Ronaldo.

Step forward to the present day and Hazard's season is a total opposite which has surprised all of us. He still hasn't scored in the Premier League, has not had anywhere near the effect on games he has had over the previous three seasons and looks a shadow of himself. If you add two or three injury problems to that and it's been a season to forget for him.

To be fair, as we know it's not just been about Eden Hazard's form this year as the majority of the players suffered a HUGE dip from the levels they reached last season. The opening few months of our title defence has played a significant part in where we find ourselves now - out of European qualification for the first time in years.

The Press would have you believe that from the early part of the season Hazard like many others had a difference of opinion with Jose Mourinho at the time and he was looking to leave. Whether or not that's true is yet to be decided or revealed as the case may be, but it has seemed clear that knowing Chelsea cannot offer European Football next season, and in addition the likes of PSG and Real Madrid making their intentions to sign him this summer known to both the club and the player himself, Hazard has made his mind up earlier in the year and is going to leave us.

It seems that despite Antonio Conte wanting the Belgian to remain here, there is little he can do and has had to accept that we are going to lose the biggest talent we have had here in a long time. But, in saying that, with Hazard only signing a new contract last season on MASSIVE wages, Chelsea will not let him leave that easily and a figure of around £80m is being quoted to be the asking price.

Those of us bet minded I suggest you head to Betfred and put money on Hazard as I believe that Eden Hazard WILL win the Ballon D'or at some stage in his career because we all know the ability he has. At times he gets us off of our seats as he dazzles us with his fantastic skill and technical ability but that's ONLY when he is up for it. As we have seen a couple of times this year, when he isn't he can be a passenger just as he has been three years running against PSG in the Champions League!

Expect a big, big deal being announced in the summer because as I said, Chelsea will not let him go on the cheap. However, his future has taken a massive turn with news that Chelsea ARE willing to sell.
