Jose Mourinho WILL NOT spend in January - Do you agree that he shouldn't?

Speaking to the media on Friday ahead of the Norwich game, Jose Mourinho insisted that he is happy with his squad and has no plans to spend anything in January. I am asking if you agree?

For me, there are areas that WE MUST strengthen in the January window so I disagree with the manager. Who am I to disagree with the most successful manager in our history for it's plain to see and had been for weeks now that we must improve on what we have because there are certain players who are not doing it for me.


Of course the problem we face in January is the fact that no-one wants to lose an important player halfway through the season so Chelsea would have to pay through the nose to sign someone who can improve on what we have already.

Then there is the question as to whether or not that type of player is available? Why would someone who is absolute quality be allowed to leave in January if the club he currently plays for had no intention of allowing him to leave five months ago. In addition, why would Chelsea feel that they MUST do business now when they made a choice no to do so in that period before?

In my opinion, Chelsea need another striker and a holding midfielder and that's the two main areas that we need to strengthen if we can. Being honest, those are the areas that most of us thought we would strengthen last summer but it never really happened apart from Falcao who hasn't exactly set the world on fire has he?

Paul Pogba and someone like Javier Hernandez are players that come to mind for obvious reasons. However, in saying that, I believe we had ready made replacements at the club already in Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Patrick Bamford. Why not bring these two into the fold and give them more of a run in the team?

Let's face it, Patrick Bamford cannot do much worse than our strikers up front already this season and Ruben Loftus-Cheek is showing recently his quality again with a sublime strike against Liverpool in the Chelsea Under 21's.

Right now I look at our squad and the quality we have in depth and I know just how good we can be. We can beat anyone on our day and have it in us to go on a long unbeaten run to take us back up to the top four and possibly beyond but it all comes down to whether or not we are going to see EVERYONE give their all and for their individual form improve.

What do you think here with the January transfer window? Do you agree with Jose that we will not be spending in the window? Would you recall Patrick Bamford and promote him and RLC into the first team on a regular basis or do you think what we have is more than enough provided they all improve their form?
