Mancini and Hoddle join the Ancelotti cause!.

Next week is going to a nightmare let's be honest. Normally the season finishes when there is no major tournament in the summer and the players and management staff go off on their holidays and have a couple of weeks rest before the planning and pre season starts.

For Chelsea the focus of the media will be on anything coming out of the club as Carlo Ancelotti meets with the Chelsea board and Roman Abramovich to discuss the future.

Everyone has an opinion but two people in particular have given theirs and both have urged Chelsea to stick with Carlo. Roberto Mancini and Glen Hoddle have both taken time to reiterate how important it is for Chelsea to stick with their man.

Mancini said:

"Abramovich would make a huge mistake to part with Ancelotti. He is one of the best coaches in the world.'

Glen Hoddle said:

“I think Chelsea have probably changed their management team too much in the last five, six, seven years. I think if they do it again there is a chance they will be stepping backwards rather than going forwards.”

I just hope Roman and the board will listen.
