"Liverpool have nothing to fear" - Phil Thompson

Sky Pundit Phil Thompson has spoke of what used to be one of the biggest matches of the season Liverpool v Chelsea and has said that the Liverpool side have nothing to fear facing Chelsea tomorrow. He said:

"10 days ago we wiped the floor with Blackburn yet, last weekend, Blackburn then go out and come within a whisker of beating Chelsea – each of the Premier League's 20 teams are capable of beating one another.

Which means that, come Sunday, we have absolutely nothing to fear about the league leaders.

Yes, they are a classy, consistent side and they keep picking up points but that does not stop them still having hiccups, like against Manchester City."

I don't really think you can compare the two Blackburn games Thompson!. For example your lot played Blackburn at Anfield and we played them at Ewood. No disrespect to Blackburn but they will even admit they are at much more difficult side to face at home than they are on their travels.

Yes Chelsea do have the odd hiccup and so far it's just been the one game against Manchester City. Do not worry about tomorrow Chelsea fans.

If there has been one game in recent times that has seen Chelsea "up for it" its Liverpool and at Anfield.

Thompson says they have nothing to fear tomorrow. The only thing I will say is, Cech, Ivanovic, Alex, JT, Cole, Mikel, Essien, Zhirkov, Malouda, Drogba and Anelka!.
