Carlo Ancelotti has summed it up perfectly today. He was asked about the progress Frank Lampard is making with his recovery and said:
"Lampard started training with the team this week, I don't think he will be ready for Wednesday [tomorrow] but for the next game in the Premier League, against Liverpool. So great news that Frank looks like he is on course for Sunday. Can you believe its been 2 months he has missed and we have won 16 points out of a possible 21.
I hope he will come back quickly because we need to have this kind of player, Now the team without Lampard is doing very well. But when he comes back I think we have a stronger team."
There is no question even though the players who have come in for the most part have played well, but Lampard is Lampard and it's as simple as that.
Let's just hope he doesn't have any reaction in training and is fit for Anfield!
KTBFFH.
Lampsy is irreplaceable and it is good to know that he will be back! Remember we have a match on Wednesday, which we will win and i hope it will give us a chance to rest our top players! And remember too that loserfool have a match on Thursday, we have a day's rest more than them!
ReplyDelete'irreplaceable' - If you ask me no one is irreplaceable (like Ancelotti said) so I won't worry much if we don't have a player unless otherwise we have a substantial replacement.
ReplyDeleteRamires did well, Eachran is showing some colours, Zhirkov has been brilliant - Enjoy it!
Ash Di,
ReplyDeletehmmm...may be indispensable then! But i am just trying to say that Lampsy is still special, may be i was a bit hyperbolic!
He will break the deadlock.Good luck lamps!!!!!!
