Lampard - Back in training and aiming for Liverpool!

Carlo Ancelotti has summed it up perfectly today. He was asked about the progress Frank Lampard is making with his recovery and said:

"Lampard started training with the team this week, I don't think he will be ready for Wednesday [tomorrow] but for the next game in the Premier League, against Liverpool.

I hope he will come back quickly because we need to have this kind of player, Now the team without Lampard is doing very well. But when he comes back I think we have a stronger team."

So great news that Frank looks like he is on course for Sunday. Can you believe its been 2 months he has missed and we have won 16 points out of a possible 21.

There is no question even though the players who have come in for the most part have played well, but Lampard is Lampard and it's as simple as that.

Let's just hope he doesn't have any reaction in training and is fit for Anfield!
