So with Saturday's game at Villa fast approaching and with news of Chelsea's injury problems I was wondering how you all feel at the moment about the game?. The big news for Chelsea will be about three players, Alex, JT and Frank Lampard.
There had been a rumour that Carlo was looking at throwing Alex into the game maybe before he is ready. Then yesterday and this morning it seems that Alex will be returning to training next week so we need to wait for clarification from Carlo in tomorrow's press conference to find out what is happening.
Then there's JT. Will he make a recovery from the back problems that ruled him out of the England game the other night?
Finally there's Frank Lampard. Fingers and everything crossed that he makes it as we need him back.
So I am asking the question:
How do you see the game going?KTBFFH
I feel there will not be too much between the sides to begin with but as usual you lot will wear us down and the difference in quality will show. We no longer have our hold over you at home. I just hope we continue to try to play a bit of football and move on from MON's long and direct style. If Heskey plays we'll be a lot better (cannot believe I just typed that). Good balanced site BTW Chelsea Daft.
ReplyDeleteOne thing though. Has Yossi tried it on with your wife or summat?

@Lickle,
ReplyDeleteVery fair an unbiased comment from a Villian ahead of the game. I have to agree, with our defensive problems and with your boys still looking to impress Houllier I think it will be a close one.
As for Yossi, just think he should have kept it "within" the club and not made a big thing out of it.
Your defensive worries are our main hope but with Carew playing his usual early season form, Heskey going off against spuds, Aggy having an op (don't know how likely he is to be available) and Delf still a bit green it doesn't leave us much (well, anything else up top). I'm hoping Emile will be alright with Ireland sat in behind him. Shame about Aggy as he usually does well up against cole.
ReplyDeleteIt can't come soon enough after the international break.
I am happy that Terry and Alex will be back, i am more happy with this news than Lampsy's return! But i hope and pray that our centre backs won't worsen their injury; I also "cross my fingers and everything" on this! Heard that even Bruma might be available. I would be happy to play only one of these 3 along side Ivanovic! Ferreira can cover the right full back!
