What an unbelievable weekend!! The FanCast crew has been on a weekend long drinking session that also just about managed to take in another Chelsea FA Cup victory securing the first historic double in the process.
Who would have believed that Chelsea would do a historic double this season? In fact there are a few of us here who never believed in our wildest imagination that we’d live to see Chelsea win the double. To be honest, there have been a few tears shed this weekend. As Vinnie Jones once said in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels…It’s been emotional!
We discuss our Cup final day and the Victory parade along King’s Road in the show and award a Man and Chant of the Match, Guinness and Celery Moment, as well as belting out what we hope will become a Chelsea classic song in ‘We’re Out to Show the World the Way to Sing’, as well as a song for JT and a famous old FA Cup song that we happened to sing in the Blackbird pub on Saturday night.
As it’s now officially the end of the season, we announce our categories and some nominations for the Chelsea Football FanCast awards for 2009/10, including Player of the Season, Most Improved Player of the Season, Goal of the Season, Guinness Moment of the Season, Celery Moment of the Season and Fan of the Season.
After all that, Dr Mart answers all your Chelsea questions in ‘Dear Mart’ including best names for your Chelsea kids, songs from the good old days and Chelsea’s greatest XI and Chidge reads out the best posts from the website and the Facebook group in ‘You’re on CFFC’!
