Chelsea make two changes to the team that faced Barcelona and line up as: Cech, Bosingwa, Alex, Terry (C), Cole, Mikel, Essien, Lampard, Malouda, Anelka, Drogba. Subs: Hilario, Ivanovic, Belletti, Ballack, Mancienne, Di Santo & Kalou.
Fulham line up as, Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Kochesky, Dempsey, Murphy (C), Etuhu, Gera, Zamora & Nevland. Subs: Zuberbuhler, Baird, Dacourt, Smalling, Gray, Stoor & Kamara.
Fulham kick off towards the Matthew Harding stand and its looks straight away as if Anelka is playing alot closer to Drogba.
1st min, GOAL CHELSEA. Malouda picks up the ball wide left, halfway inside their half and plays a one-two with Anelka. He picks the ball up left edge of the box and plays into Drogba just inside their box dead centre, he kills the ball with one touch into the path of Anelka who skips past a tackle into the box on the penalty spot and as the keeper comes out flicks the ball past him. 1-0.
4th min, GOAL FULHAM. Danny Murphy plays ball in between Terry and Ashley Cole to Nevland right hand side of the box and he fires the ball past Cech into the bottom corner of the net. 1-1.
7th min, Chelsea possession not cleared Lampard picks up the ball edge of box right of centre looks up and chips the ball to the far corner but ball goes wide.
9th min. GOAL CHELSEA. Anelka outside of box flicks ball into the right hand side of the box to onrushing Drogba who crosses the ball first time in front of Anelka. Pantsil stretches and misses the ball and Malouda hits it left footed into the right corner of the net and wrong foots Schwarzer 2-1.
13th min. Konchesky plays ball into the box into Dempsey who chests it down first time into the path of Nevland and he fires over the bar from just outside the box.
16th min. Ball played out wide left to Konchesky who takes a touch and crosses into the box and Zamora rises above Ashley Cole and heads wide.
20th min. Lampard plays ball over the top to Drogba who has spun off his marker to beat the offside trap. Drogba left side of box fires through legs of Schwarzer and scores but given offside by the linesman. Reply shows he was ONSIDE.
22nd min. Fulham down right hand side and ball is played back into the middle to Murphy and his shot is blocked for a corner. Corner comes to nothing.
27th min. Bosingwa out wide right plays into Drogba who takes a touch and knocks it round the defender edge of box, Konchesky reads it and follows into box, Drogba closes him down and looks to Nick the ball off of him and Konchesky makes the tackle, Drogba goes down and nothing given. Was that a pen???
31st min. Chelsea free kick 30 yards out and Lampard fires towards goal but gets it all wrong and ball ends up high into the upper tier of the Shed end.
35th min. Nevland injured after coming together with Terry and he is replaced by Diomansey Kamara.
44th min. Anelka plays to Essien and he shoots wide from right hand corner of the box.
HALF TIME. CHELSEA 2-1 FULHAM.
SECOND HALF SUBS FOR CHELSEA. Ballack on for Essien and Ivanovic on for Alex. Chelsea switch back to 4-3-3 formation with Anelka wide right.
53rd min. GOAL CHELSEA. Anelka on right hand side feeds Drogba inside right of centre on box, he takes a touch and as Schwarzer comes out slides it past him into the net. 3-1.
59th min. Freekick Chelsea taken again by Lampard who fires it at goal and on target this time, pushed over the bar by Schwarzer.
66th min. Backpass by Ivanovic and Zamora onto it right hand corner of box near byline and Cech out to his feet and smothers the ball.
68th min. Anelka break down line wide right and comes inside, crosses for Drogba who can't get it on target and it goes wide.
70th min. Ashley Cole down left hand side looks up and crosses into box and Ballack rises and wins the header but it does wide.
73rd min. Bosingwa inside Fulham half on right hand side looks to play a pass but nothing on, so comes inside and further into Fulham half and has no pressure in front of him so carries the ball to middle of pitch 25 yards out and fires a shot well wide.
74th min. FULHAM SUBSTITUTION. DACOURT ON FOR ZAMORA. Zamora picked up a knee injury after Terry made a tackle and caught him on the follow through.
83rd min. Malouda breaks down left and crosses for Anelka and he wins the header but heads wide.
84th min. CHELSEA SUBSTITUTION. DI SANTO ON FOR DROGBA.
88th min. Chelsea possession just inside Fulham's half and Ballack passes to Lampard 20 yards out just outside box and he tees up Mikel who shoots wide from 25 yards.
FULL TIME. CHELSEA 3 (Anelka, Malouda & Drogba. FULHAM 1 (Nevland).
