Do we need anymore?

With all the reports of players being linked and nothing happening and of course what Carlo Ancelotti said in his Press Conference yesterday I ask the question "Do we really need anyone else?".

Ancelotti has already stated that we have a "great team" so with Zhirkov in and Turnbull and Sturridge added to the squad do we need anyone else?.

Let's look at our situation right now. We finished behind Liverpool and Man Utd in the league. There is no question with losing out on Tevez and letting Ronaldo go you have to agree that at the moment they are a weaker side. Do we see Valencia taking up the Ronaldo role and being as effective? No not for me. There is alot riding on the likes of Berbatov etc this season and with Tevez gone it again has made them weaker.

Liverpool have brought in Glen Johnson and at present have constant rumours about Alonso and that annoying little Argentine leaving so things aren't rosy for them either. Besides, you have to say if Essien was back or played the whole season the Scousers would never of had a look in for second and we would of pushed United for the title.

So then there's Chelsea. Let's look back to Hiddink when he took over. He sorted out the shambles that we had become, got our house in order and along with Essien returning and Drogba playing games showed everyone we were back and a force to be reckoned with. Our run in was amazing, one defeat and a FA Cup win. So do we really need to sign anyone else.

Let's face it, we also have another Key Player back next season in Joe Cole who I believe will be employed down our right hand side and fighting Kalou for that position, with Zhirkov and Malouda fighting down the left.

With Drogba, Anelka, Di Santo and Sturridge fighting for places up front along with the returning Andriy Shevchenko & Claudio Pizzaro (Remember him) we are fine there too.

Our midfield is strong and dominant in the Premier League and under Hiddink we showed that as we didn't even play Deco, so if he goes then no problem.

With Ferriera returning from a season long injury he is available to fight Bosingwa and Ashley Cole for both full back positions and if Carvalho goes, remember he didn't feature for Hiddink at all either, then we still have John Terry, Alex, Ivanovic and Mancienne.

So if we sign no one else then I don't see it being a major problem. Do you?
