About

A Chelsea Fans Blog for was created at the beginning of March 2009. The Blog started out about all I see in the world of Chelsea and quite simply report about it based on my "Rose-Tinted" glass wearing opinions.

CD is a lifelong Chelsea fan through the good times and bad. I have been a fan from as early as I can remember (over 30 years now) and I used to help my Dad and Grandad on the old fruit & veg stall in North End Road, leave there at 1430 every other Saturday and take the short walk to Stamford Bridge and stand and watch our beloved Chelsea in the shed end.

The ground has changed, players have come and gone, likewise managers but one thing still remains. That's our Blue Blood. I am and always will be Chelsea through and through like the rest of you.

The blog has had over 9.9m page views!!.

In September 2012 I decided that the best way to take the blog forward after establishing a fan base was to encourage other bloggers to contribute to the blog, to take it to the next level. Hopefully this will see Chelseadaft really take off and become THE MOST popular blog!.

Introducing Sebb:

"Hi everyone! My name is Seb Budd, I am 20 years old and I am currently based in Southampton. I am a second year university student at Southampton Solent studying for a degree in sports journalism.

I come from a long line of Chelsea supporters and have been following the Blues ever since I can remember. I attended my first game in 1998 when I was 7 years old, we drew 1-1 at home to Middlesbrough. Because of my age I grew up watching stars such as Dennis Wise, Marcel Desailly, Gus Poyet, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and the majestic Gianfranco Zola.

Stars have come and gone but my passion for Chelsea remains and always will.

I am thrilled to be a part of ChelseaDaft and cannot wait to bring you everything Chelsea!"

Introducing Blake:

"My name is Blake Hewitt. I am a 22 year old recent University graduate from Minnesota in the United States. I've been a die-hard CFC fan for the last 12 years or so (yes, even over on this side of the pond). I've been following your blog for the last few years, and have always enjoyed casually writing. So when I came across your post suggesting an opportunity to write about something which I hold so much passion for, I couldn't pass it up. Thank you & I hope enjoy reading an American's take on everything!"
