With plenty of speculation over the future of some of our biggest names heading into the January transfer window and beyond in the summer, two of those players have spoken out.

Eden Hazard and Willian have been two of the most talked about players at Chelsea for the last two or three seasons. First and foremost for their performances in a Chelsea shirt but also because they are constantly being linked with a move away from Chelsea whenever a transfer window approaches or, before the same window closes.

For Eden Hazard it seems like a constant cloud that hangs over him every time he is asked to speak publicly. To be fair in his defence he has been open and honest about the fact he admires his footballing hero Zidane but at the same time, he also has once again re-affirmed the fact that there is no rush for a move away from West London.

Speaking this past week as the rumour mill once again gets into full swing, Hazard was asked of a potential move away from Chelsea this summer with strong suggestions that Real Madrid are planning a big money offer to prize him away.

With a new long-term deal for MEGA money on the table from Chelsea (reported to be £300,000 per week), Hazard responded by saying:

"As long as things are going well ... When you change, it's because things aren't going well.

If at work, it's going well and you're the boss, would you move? Why would you want to move? You're not going to change, are you?

Also, you know everyone, you feel good, all of those things. That's what it was like at Lille. I knew everyone, it was the best.

And when I felt I needed to change, I left. Now, at Chelsea, it's the same thing. It's my sixth year. I have my family here.

My wife and children feel really good. I'm not far from Belgium so those close to me and my parents or brothers can come quite often.

I'm at a big club. Almost every year I win a trophy. On the pitch, it's going really well.

I'm here for now, I'm trying to finish my year as well as possible. After that, I'll have two years on my contract. We'll see what happens." - Source

So to Willian who is linked with a move away from Chelsea in virtually every single transfer window for the last three seasons. This time around, having to settle for a place on the bench in most weeks under Antonio Conte, Jose Mourinho and Manchester United are preparing to make Chelsea a big money offer to take the talented Brazilian play-maker to Old Trafford.

Speaking this week in response to the reports, Willian was keen to send a message to the Chelsea fans and that was to keep calm and spoke of a desire to be successful once again this season. He said:

"I’m happy here and the fans can be calm.

I’m always happy here at Chelsea. I really like this club a lot with my heart. Yeah, I’m very happy.

It’s a big gap but we have to fight until the end. We have a lot of games and anything can happen. We have to fight. We will never give up. We have to continue.

We have to think about us and our performance and forget the others. We are Chelsea, a big club, and we always want to win.

We have to be there and stay at the top of the table. We have to do our job always. We have to try and play the way we did against Huddersfield.

We played very well, we created a lot of chances, the team was compact and very solid. I think we have to carry on like this." - Source

Unfortunately, the likes of Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho are not going to go away. Chelsea need to pick themselves up and get back up that table as close to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side AND to try and get as far as possible in the Champions League starting with Barcelona over two-legs, if we are to keep hold of players like these two.

It's good to hear the fact that they are both happy here. Let's hope it stays that way and they both are here next season!
