Time to acknowledge that Chelsea are in SERIOUS trouble - Leicester 2-1 Chelsea:

What is it with Chelsea this season? We take one step forward and then TWO massive steps backwards! Leicester deserved their win because they knew what they were doing.
As the weeks go by, and a defeat is followed by another, we kid ourselves into thinking that one of these days something will click and we will bounce back, turn into the Chelsea of last season and get on a run of wins that will take us motoring back up the league table to where we feel we belong.
The reality that we face is very different and sometime soon we ALL have to acknowledge that Chelsea are in serious trouble.
A word on Claudio Ranieri and his Leicester team. Fantastic and good luck to them is my opinion. They play with a purpose, they all know their individual roles, they play to their strengths and they all work together as a unit either in defence or attack.
With two players at their top of their game in Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez, they are proving week in, week out that they deserve to be exactly where they are and their contributions are outstanding.
The Tinkerman is doing the complete opposite and is getting his rewards this season. I always admired and liked Claudio when he was at Chelsea and always felt sorry to see him go when he did. It couldn't happen to a nicer bloke!
Back to Chelsea. Being brutally honest, every compliment I have given Leicester for the way they approach games is well deserved. Chelsea are the total opposite or at least look the total opposite and that's what concerns me the most.
We look like a team without structure, without purpose and our direct attacking play that was part and parcel of the start to our title run last season is non-existent. The only direct run at the opposition in or around the box was made by Pedro when he beat his man and crossed for Loic Remy to head home for our goal.
Something is seriously wrong and for Jose Mourinho to question his players the way he has done post-match by stating that he feels betrayed by them after ignoring his preparation for the game with Vardy and Mahrez in particular, describing both goals as "unacceptable", then to state that top four is now beyond us is unthinkable for a club such as ours.
I'm tired of seeing players keep swapping positions on the pitch. Stick to the position you are being asked to play and do your fucking jobs for once. I'm tired of seeing us play all this bollocks possession football to get us absolutely no-where. Play it forward quicker for fuck-sake!
Our play is too slow, too laboured and there is a real disconnect between our midfield and Diego Costa up front. Tonight he became isolated and as a result at times man-handled by the defence. Everytime he was played the ball he could do little with it.
We look like a shower of shit at the moment. We look disjointed, unorganised and look like we are playing with fear when being attacked. That's not the Chelsea we know at all.
We have to play as more of a compact unit. We have to negate the space in front of our back four and at the same time get closer to our attackers. Time and time again we are finding the holding midfielders or the full backs exposed with the opposition picking up the ball in plenty of space to attack us and force us backwards.
I never ever thought I would say this after last season but we look like a bunch of individuals playing together rather than look like a team. Something has got to give and it needs to happen quickly!
