REPORT: JT linked with Mancini! What do you think of him this season?

What do you people think about John Terry so far this season? He's out of contract this summer and if reports are to be believed, Roberto Mancini wants to take him to Turkey!

I am really interested in hearing as many Chelsea fans opinions on this and as I have asked, what you think of JT's performances so far this season?

Think back to last season under Rafa, we often heard that he was injured and struggling with knocks but JT has spoken out this season to Chelsea TV and has stated on record that he was fit and ready to play.

When Mourinho came back to the club he was open and honest with JT and told him that he needed to work hard as with everybody else to force his way into the team and I believe he has done that.

OK, we all know that JT has lost a yard of pace but for me, he more than makes up for it with his ability to read the game better than most in that position.

This week we have also read that in some quarters, people have been pushing for JT to rethink his retirement from England and make a comeback ahead of the World Cup in Rio this summer. I'm not so sure that will happen but in my opinion, JT has played consistently well this season and has been one of our best defenders.

Is that enough to be rewarded by Chelsea with another contract? I guess we will have to sit and wait to see what happens but the report of Mancini comes as no surprise as it's obvious that JT can do a job at the highest level still.

One thing is for sure, Chelsea have invested heavily in recent seasons in younger players with quality and the temptation for Jose would be to do the same with JT and bring someone younger into the club.

In saying that, only yesterday David Luiz was being linked with a move away from Chelsea in the January transfer window with two others so it's anyones guess at to what will happen here!

Do you think that Jose will be happy for JT to be given a new contract because at the end of the day he is also our leader.

The thing is, JT will be in a position to be able to talk to other clubs come January and Chelsea will need to act fast if they intend to keep him. Imagine the sides that could come in for him if nothing was to be offered by Chelsea and he was free to leave!
