The Chelsea Daily Drivel is a daily update of all the stories concerning our club, the rumours, the opinions and more....

So here is the latest from around the web on Saturday 10th July 2010 including: Wesley Sneijder, Ricardo Carvalho, Bruno Alves, Alexandre Pato and Miroslav Stoch.

Firstly to the news that its reported today in the Mirror that Chelsea have officially made their interest known in Wesley Sneijder. The club is reported to have confirmed their interest to the player while he is in South Africa. I ran this article the other day stating that we should match United's interest and I am pleased to hear that we have. Let's see what happens after the World Cup final on Sunday. Head over to my article and post your opinion on this one!

DURBAN, June 26, 2010 Ricardo Carvalho (L) of Portugal reacts during the Group G last round match against Brazil at 2010 FIFA World Cup, at Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban, South Africa, on June 25, 2010. The match tied 0-0. Both Brazil and Portugal are qualified for the round of 16.

Now to another article I ran yesterday about Ricardo Carvalho. This morning the Daily Telegraph has picked up on the story and is reporting that Carvalho is expected to sign for Inter Milan. Some of you have expressed your opinions about this one already so if you do have a view then head over to my article and express your view! More on this in the coming days.

In the same article The Telegraph is also reporting that Chelsea will swoop for Porto defender Bruno Alves as a replacement for Carvalho. It was thought that Porto were looking for £15m for their man but the player has now expressed his desire to leave and its thought that the player could be available now for less. One player who looks like won't be coming to Chelsea is Alexandre Pato. Pato has said:
"I have a contract with Milan until 2014 and I intend to respect that, Maybe one day I will return to Brazil to close my career with Internacional, who are the team I support."

Finally to Miroslav Stoch who has left Chelsea and signed for Fenerbache recently. Stoch has revealed that he turned down Manchester City and Real Madrid in order to sign for the Turkish club. When asked about who was also interested in him he said:
"Among them were Juventus, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Ajax and Sevilla, I considered everything, from all angles, but Fenerbahce were the best choice."
