With the three Chelsea departures yesterday rumours are rife and have gone into overdrive so expect Chelsea and Carlo Ancelotti to be interested in all sorts of names in the coming weeks. We have already heard about Kaka, Schweinsteiger, Benayoun and James Milner. The latest one I am hearing is Stephen Ireland of Man City!.
Caughtoffside is reporting that Ancelotti is a fan and is looking to beat off competition to sign him for a reported fee of 12m after Ireland has made it clear that he wants to leave City.
