Its also reported in the British Press today that Deco has confirmed that he is in talks with Jose Mourinho about linking up with him at Inter. This is an expected one as previously reported. Like in my other post the other day, I said he started well, then got injured and never recovered. So i don't see this as any loss at all with the prospect of Ribery coming in as a replacement.
So here we are. We are two days away from the FA Cup final and the excitement is building!. Its the game to bring the curtain down on the season and what a season we have had. Congrats to Nicolas Anelka for winning the Premier League's Golden boot award this season with 19 Premier League goals. He beat that bloke from Portugal with his goal against Sunderland and you have to say he has been different class all season.
Its rumoured in the British Press that Jermaine Pennant is admired and wanted by Carlo Ancelotti if he comes to Stamford Bridge.

For me this one is no great loss. He left Inter Milan after "not feeling loved" by the Inter fans. He hasn't had an impact at Chelsea at all and has played more reserve football than first team at Chelsea. Its a shame this one as back in the day at Porto he was real class. I wish him well for the future but it won't be at Chelsea.
FC Twente coach Steve McClaren says it would be in 20-year-old Marko Arnautovic's best interests to stay at the club, amid reports that the striker will be leaving for Chelsea or Inter Milan. (Dutch newspaper AD Sportwereld).

However, Drogba insists he remains committed to Chelsea and is looking forward to playing an important role over the coming years.
"I believe the future of Chelsea will be splendid because we have created something for which now many want to come to Chelsea," he told Sky Italia.
"They know that when they come here every year they have to fight to win trophies.
"This club was already historical but it will become even more so.
"I am very proud to be part of all of it and I want to stay here as long as they want me."
Drogba, who moved to London from Marseille in 2004, endured one of his most disappointing spells with the club when Luiz Felipe Scolari was at the helm earlier this term.
He struggled with a number of injuries and was regularly overlooked in favour of Nicolas Anelka, before appearing rejuvenated under Guus Hiddink.
But he insists he has nothing against Scolari, adding: "Sometimes things don't go how you want them to.
"I can't be angry with him because it was a choice and the manager's choices should be respected.
"A coach has 22 players at his disposition. He has to make decisions and I think that his weren't bad because Anelka was scoring.
"I couldn't say anything, I had to only wait my turn."
Drogba was charged by Uefa on Friday for his angry reaction towards referee Tom Henning Ovrebo in the Champions League semi-final, but he claims such behaviour is out of character.
He added: "Luckily it doesn't happen often to me, but sometimes it happens that you lose control and do something which you regret as soon as the match finishes."

Let's all spare a thought for Claudio Pizzaro who tonight lost as his Werder Bremen side were beaten 2-1 by Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Cup final.
Also spare a thought for Claudio Ranieri who was sacked this week by Juventus. A great man who did great things at Chelsea. Just remember, some people still argue it was Ranieri's team with a couple of additions that won Jose and Chelsea their first title for 50 years!
Its reported in the British Press this morning that Barcelona are trying to take advantage of the uncertainty over the Chelsea managers position by trying to lure Ashley Cole away from Stamford Bridge.
So its been more or less 24 hours since we beat Blackburn in our last home game of the season 2-0. Goals from Malouda and Anelka sealed the win but let's be honest we should of scored a whole lot more.

Cech was outstanding and looked as though he is on his way back to his best and i am pleased for him. He has had a couple of dodgey games for us but its great to see him back and imposing his presence in games again. Everytime a cross came into the box you knew he would come off his line and deal with it. With the other great saves he made in the game the result was as much down to him aswell as our finishing.Online Soccer Shop, soccerpro.com has a terrific range of Nike Superfly soccer shoes and youth soccer jerseys.
