Its rumoured this morning that Chelsea have finalised the deal for Yuri Zhirkov for £18m. Its reported that Roman Abramovich has personally dealt with the transfer after receiving a glowing recommendation from Guus Hiddink.
Zhirkov can play anywhere down the left hand side and if its true, will come into the squad and provide valuable competition for Malouda for a starting place in the side.
This guy is a good player from the Russia games i have seen on TV and let's hope this is one that is signed and sealed asap!
